Abstract submission closing soon

Submit your abstract for The National Nursing Forum by Tuesday 18 June 2013 –
don’t miss out!

The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) invites you to submit an abstract for The National Nursing Forum to be held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra, from 20-22 October 2013.

Forum theme and context

The theme Success through Synergy not only draws on the unification of RCNA and TCoN that has brought us ACN, but recognises that in our practice we can be even more successful when we work together, learn from each other and support one another.

To address this we have designed a program that provides several themes grouped in areas of practice, highlighting the need for synergy.

Forum sub-themes

Drawing on the conference title Success through Synergy abstracts are being sought that address one of the following sub-themes within one of the practice areas listed below.

SUB-THEMES

  *   Care delivery and clinical practice
  *   Education
  *   Leadership
  *   Safety and quality
  *   Workforce
  *   Legal and ethical issues
PRACTICE AREAS

  *   Acute
  *   Community and primary health care
  *   Chronic and complex care
  *   Disaster
  *   Rural and regional
HISTORY

There will be a specific stream to recognise the historic nature of 2013 in which we celebrate Canberra’s centenary and the first of ACN’s National Nursing Forums.
