The following email was sent out by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to all stakeholders. It outlines the English language requirements for registration as a nurse in Australia – essential reading, particularly for educators of undergraduate nursing students.

English Language Requirements for Registration as a Nurse in Australia


On Monday 19 September 2011 the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia will implement a revised registration standard on English language skills.
