Dear ANTS member - especially our midwives,

The ANF is seeking feedback on the attached document - please read the information below for details.

The ANF is part of a Nursing and Midwifery Telehealth Consortia, along with the Australian Practice Nurses Association, the Australian College of Midwives, the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners and CRANAplus, funded by the Department of Health and Ageing to provide telehealth education and support specifically for nurses and midwives. The ANF has taken carriage of the development of Telehealth Professional Practice Standards and Guidelines for Nursing and Midwifery on behalf of the Consortia.

The attached document is the draft Telehealth Standards for Midwifery. The Nursing and Midwifery Standards are based on the National Competency Standards for the registered nurse and the registered midwife.

Through the CoNNO, we have been asked to circulate this draft document  within your membership for review and feedback. It would be appreciated if your feedback could be returned direct to Belinda Caldwell (Project Consultant) on belindacaldwell@gmail.com by COB Wednesday 20 February 2013.
