Position Description Nurse Educator

• Play your part in improving health services in eastern Indonesia

The aim of the Faculty of Health at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) is to improve the quality of health services in Indonesia by improving the standard of health professionals.

More than 50% of universities students are from the eastern part of Indonesia, a region that particularly needs to improve the quality of health service provision.

The Faculty wants to establish international standards in teaching health professionals and so requires the skills and experience of a suitably qualified person to establish international standard curriculum and teaching for nurse training.

The suitable applicant will hold relevant nursing and teaching qualifications along with experience supervising and mentoring academic staff and/or students.

Awareness and sensitivity of cross-cultural settings, an ability to cope with cultural isolation and a preparedness to work with limited resources within a challenging environment will be well regarded.
