Identifying the Essential Clinical Skills that Graduate Nurses require

We are conducting a study to identify the essential technical and non-technical skills required by graduate nurses as they commence employment. This study has ethics approval (UTS HREC ETH17-1713) and the results will be published and used to inform future Bachelor of Nursing curricula. The research team comprises myself, Dr Tamara Power, Natalie Govind and Kelly Eyre from the University of Technology.

If, in the last two years, you have employed, worked with, supported, mentored, or educated graduate nurses, you are being invited to complete an online survey that should take no more than 5-10 minutes of your time.

If you are interested in participating, please click on this link to access the survey.

If you have any questions please contact tracy.levett-jones@uts.edu.au.

We are recruiting participants via ‘snowballing’ – so please feel free to share this email within your network.

Yours sincerely,
